I'VE DONE MICRONEEDLING, HOW IS MORPHEUS8 DIFFERENT?
MORPHEUS8 combines the benefits of microneedling with the benefits of radio-frequency (RF) into a single treatment. It's adjustable needles emit radiofrequency energy (0.5-8.0 mm) to rejuvenate and tighten your skin . While the microneedling causes a controlled injury that results in the formation of new collagen and elastin (i.e., the fibers responsible for skin tightening), the radiofrequency energy heat shrink-wraps (i.e., tightens) existing collagen and stimulate the formation of new collagen and elastin.
WHY ARE ADJUSTABLE DEPTHS OF MICRONEEDLES IMPORTANT?
By adjusting the microneedle depth and the radio-frequency energy of the treatment, we can customize a treatment to address your specific needs. MORPHEUS8 can be modified to address skin texture, pores, wrinkles, loose skin and fat.
WHEN WILL I SEE RESULTS FROM MY MORPHEUS8 TREATMENT?
Most patients will see results within the first month after treatment. You can expect to continue to see changes from your MORPHEUS8 treatment for up to 2-3 months.
HOW OFTEN CAN I HAVE MORPHEUS8 TREATMENTS?
MORPHEUS8 treatments can be done every 1-2 months. It is usually recommend that you'll need a series of 2-3 treatments when starting. Maintenance treatments are recommended every 6-12 months.
WHAT TO EXPECT?
At SKINAESTHETICA, we work with you to help make you comfortable throughout the entire treatment! We offer a variety of anesthetic options including: a special compounded topical numbing ointment, cryo-cooling and Pro-Nox (i.e. laughing gas) that make the treatment very tolerable. After your MORPHEUS8 treatment, you can expected to have redness, swelling and possibly some bruising. This will last approximately 2-3 days for most patients. For the first 2-3 days after your treatment, you will be instructed on what products to apply to the treated areas and when to resume wearing make-up. Most patients go to work 1-2 days after their treatment!
