HOW DOES BOTOX WORK?
Botox is injected directly into the muscle and works by temporarily blocking the the release of the neurotransmitter acetylcholine (ACh) at the neuromuscular junction of injected muscles. As a result, the visible creases caused by muscle movement are temporarily relaxed and can be eliminated with regular use.
WHAT CAN BOTOX TREAT?
Forehead lines, Frown Lines, Crow's Feet, Brow-Lift, Bunny lines, Under Eye Wrinkles, Gummy Smile, Chin Dimpling, Bruxism (teeth-grinding), Temporal Mandibular Joint (TMJ) Dysfunction, Jawline Slimming, Jawline Definition, Nefertiti Neck Lift, Neck bands, Hyperhydrosis (excessive sweating of underarms, hands and feet).
WHEN WILL I SEE RESULTS FROM BOTOX TREATMENT?
Within 2-5 days, you will start to notice improvement in your lines. Final results are expected at 2 weeks (touch-ups may be needed for fine adjustments). The treatment lasts approximately 3 months. Regular maintenance is highly encouraged for the best anti-aging results.
IS BOTOX PAINFUL?
Topical numbing can be applied to help with any discomfort. Most patients find the treatment very tolerable and often don't need topical numbing.
HOW MUCH TIME IS NEEDED?
The procedure takes just 5-10 minutes. Allow 30-45 minutes for consultation, preparation and treatment for new patients
